Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies are, how Drivzu uses them, and how you can control your cookie preferences.

Last updated: 6 February 2026Version 1.0

1.What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They are widely used across the internet to make websites work more efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to the website owner.

Cookies can be "first-party" (set by the website you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by a different website or service). They can also be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remain on your device until they expire or you delete them).

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, which function in a comparable way to store small amounts of data on your device.

2.How We Use Cookies

Drivzu uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Essential functionality: To authenticate your identity, maintain your session, and protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to operate and cannot be disabled.
  • Functional preferences: To remember your settings and preferences, such as your chosen theme (light or dark mode) and language, so you do not have to set them each time you visit.
  • Analytics (if applicable): To understand how visitors interact with our Platform, which pages are most popular, and how users navigate between pages. This helps us improve the Platform's design and functionality. Analytics cookies are only used with your consent.
  • Marketing (if applicable): To deliver relevant advertisements and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. Marketing cookies are only used with your consent.

5.Managing Cookies

You have several options for managing cookies on the Drivzu Platform:

Via Our Cookie Banner

When you first visit the Platform, a cookie banner will appear allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer of any page.

Via Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:

  • View which cookies are stored on your device.
  • Delete individual cookies or all cookies.
  • Block cookies from specific websites or all websites.
  • Block third-party cookies while allowing first-party cookies.
  • Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set, so you can decide whether to accept it.

For guidance on managing cookies in your browser, please refer to your browser's help documentation:

Impact of Disabling Cookies

Please note that disabling or deleting essential cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform. For example, if you delete authentication cookies, you will be signed out and will need to sign in again. Disabling functional cookies means that your preferences (such as theme and language) will not be remembered between visits.

6.Third-Party Cookies

In addition to our own first-party cookies, certain third-party services integrated into the Platform may set their own cookies on your device:

Stripe

Our payment processor, Stripe, may set cookies when you interact with payment forms. These cookies are used for fraud prevention, security, and to process your payments securely. Stripe's use of cookies is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Google Services

If you sign in using Google OAuth or if we use Google Maps for location-based features, Google may set cookies on your device. These cookies are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not control third-party cookies and recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these providers for more information about how they use cookies.

7.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, our practices, or applicable law. When we make changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
  • Notify you of significant changes via a cookie banner, email, or a prominent notice on the Platform.
  • Request fresh consent where changes affect non-essential cookies that require your consent.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies.
